AI vs. Doctor's eye: who spots more colon cancer risk?
NCT ID NCT07338643
Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system helps doctors find more precancerous growths (adenomas) during a colonoscopy. It will involve 1,200 people who are having a colonoscopy due to symptoms like abdominal pain or constipation. Doctors will perform the procedure either with or without the AI's real-time assistance to see which method finds more growths.
