AI vs. the human eye: can computers spot hidden colon cancer?

NCT ID NCT07307547

Summary

This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help doctors find more polyps and early cancers during a routine colonoscopy. About 3,300 people will be randomly assigned to have their colonoscopy done with or without the AI assistant. The goal is to see if the AI tool improves detection rates, which could lead to better prevention of colorectal cancer.
