AI scans Kids' X-Rays to catch hidden heart disease risk
NCT ID NCT07405658
Summary
This study aims to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that can spot early signs of Kawasaki disease in children's routine chest X-rays. The goal is to help doctors diagnose this serious condition faster than current methods allow, especially in the first few days of fever. Researchers will analyze past X-ray and health data from up to 20,000 children to train and test the AI model.
