AI vs. human: can a chatbot bridge the genetic testing gap for cancer patients?
NCT ID NCT06422455
Summary
This study is testing whether a multilingual AI chatbot named PERLA can help more cancer patients get important genetic testing. It compares patients who learn about testing from the chatbot to those who learn from a human genetics counselor. The goal is to see if this technology can improve access, especially for Spanish-speaking patients and those in rural or underserved communities.
