AI nurse chatbot aims to ease cancer Patients' distress
NCT ID NCT06636188
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone chatbot called Digi-Coach can help reduce physical and emotional distress for people undergoing radiation treatment for head and neck cancer. Researchers will compare patients using the AI chatbot alongside regular nursing care to those receiving only regular care. The goal is to see if having 24/7 access to an AI assistant for answering questions and providing support makes the difficult treatment process easier to manage.
