NCT ID NCT07492797
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new AI-powered camera system that can measure hand and arm movements during rehabilitation exercises. The goal is to see if it can give doctors accurate, real-time data on a patient's progress without requiring in-person visits. Forty adults recovering from hand injuries or surgery will participate, comparing the camera system to standard telehealth rehab.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
AI-Based Camera Tele-Rehabilitation Monitoring System
What this could lead to
If successful, this could give doctors a reliable way to monitor hand rehab remotely using just a camera, making therapy more accessible and personalized.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 40 participants. The system may not be accurate enough for clinical use, and results may not apply to all patients.
