Can AI teach doctors to see the heart better?
NCT ID NCT06548373
Summary
This small pilot study aims to see if artificial intelligence (AI) guidance can help anesthesia trainees perform better point-of-care heart ultrasound scans. Sixteen second-year anesthesia residents will use an AI-guided system to perform scans on patients, and the image quality will be reviewed by an expert heart doctor. The study will compare the quality and speed of scans done with and without the AI assistance to see if the technology improves trainee performance.
