AI app aims to ease Chemo's harsh side effects for breast cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07273812

Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app that uses artificial intelligence (AI) can help women with breast cancer better manage their chemotherapy. The app, available in Arabic, provides personalized reminders for medications, advice for handling side effects, and alerts the healthcare team about serious symptoms. Researchers will compare 130 women using the app alongside their usual care to those receiving only standard care to see if the app improves symptom control, medication adherence, and quality of life.
