Researchers seek better way to gauge mental health crises
NCT ID NCT07116694
Summary
This study aims to see if questionnaires filled out by patients and their close contacts (like family members) during episodes of severe agitation match up with ratings from doctors. It involves about 30 adults with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder and their chosen informant. The goal is to validate new tools for measuring agitation severity, not to test a new treatment.
