Could a 'Senolytic' drug cocktail turn back the clock on mental illness?

NCT ID NCT05838560

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, dasatinib and quercetin, can slow down accelerated aging in older adults with schizophrenia or treatment-resistant depression. The drugs are taken for just eight days over a month, alongside lifestyle coaching. Researchers will check if the treatment is safe and look for changes in blood markers of aging, brain health, and symptoms.
