Scientists test Anti-Aging drugs in seniors
NCT ID NCT06727305
Summary
This study aims to understand how older adults process two drugs called mTOR inhibitors (sirolimus and everolimus), which are thought to potentially slow aging processes. Researchers will measure drug levels in the blood and check for changes in specific aging-related biomarkers over three months in 60 participants aged 65 and older. The goal is to gather foundational data to plan future, larger trials.
