Scientists test 'Anti-Aging' drugs in older adults for the first time
NCT ID NCT06727305
Summary
This study aims to understand how older adults process two drugs (sirolimus and everolimus) that might slow down aging. Researchers will measure drug levels in the blood and check for changes in biological signs of aging over three months in 60 participants aged 65 and older. The goal is to gather essential data to design future, larger trials to see if these drugs can help prevent age-related decline.
