Scientists test drugs to turn back the clock on aging

NCT ID NCT06658093

Summary

This early-stage study aims to find safe and effective doses of two drugs, rapamycin and everolimus, for healthy adults aged 65-90. Researchers want to see if these drugs can safely reduce a specific cellular activity linked to aging to levels seen in young, healthy people. The study will test different dosing schedules over several months to understand the drugs' effects and safety in older adults.
