First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving high-risk pregnant women positive, supportive messages in the emergency room could lower their stress and help them cope with uncertainty. 102 women took part, with some receiving standard care plus encouraging affirmations, while others got standard care alone. The goal was to see if a simple, non-drug approach could improve emotional well-being during a stressful time.
