Summary

This study looked at whether aesthetic therapy (like beauty and relaxation sessions) can help reduce anxiety and improve quality of life for patients with acute leukemia or those who had a stem cell transplant. These patients are isolated in a protected hospital area for at least 28 days, facing aggressive treatments and stress. The study involved 70 adults and measured anxiety and well-being using questionnaires at different times.
