Spray-On chemo tested in battle against advanced colon cancer

NCT ID NCT07349043

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new way to deliver chemotherapy directly into the abdomen for people with colorectal cancer that has spread there. Doctors spray the chemo as a pressurized mist during a minimally invasive procedure, hoping it will better target the cancer. The main goals are to find the safest and most effective dose and to see how well patients tolerate it when combined with their standard chemotherapy.
