First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether placing a clear plastic box over a patient's head during CPR can reduce the spread of viruses, like COVID-19, to healthcare workers. Researchers will have 240 healthcare providers perform CPR on mannequins, with and without the box, to measure how well it works. The goal is to find better ways to keep medical staff safe during emergencies.
