Can a plastic box save lives during COVID-19 emergencies?

NCT ID NCT05868239

Summary

This study examines whether clear plastic 'aerosol boxes' protect healthcare workers from virus particles during CPR on COVID-19 patients. Researchers will simulate emergency scenarios with 240 healthcare professionals across North America to measure particle spread and CPR quality. The goal is to determine if these boxes effectively reduce infection risk without slowing down critical life-saving procedures.
