First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a 12-week aerobic exercise program can help reverse age-related immune decline in adults aged 60 and older living in care homes. Forty participants will either exercise or continue their usual routine, with blood tests and fitness measures taken at several points. The goal is to see if moderate exercise can reduce inflammation and improve immune cell function.
