Targeted radiation blitz aims to outsmart deadly brain cancer
NCT ID NCT04574856
Summary
This study is testing a new, more precise way to deliver radiation therapy to people newly diagnosed with glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain tumor. Doctors will use advanced MRI scans during treatment to target higher radiation doses specifically to the most resistant parts of the tumor, while patients also receive standard chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if this intensified, adaptive approach helps patients live longer than the current standard treatment.
