New combo therapy aims to slow advanced colorectal cancer

Summary
This study tests a new first-line treatment for people with advanced colorectal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread. Participants receive a combination of levozolinate and 5-FU given together through an IV. The goal is to see if this approach can delay cancer growth and improve survival. The trial is currently recruiting 583 adults aged 18 to 75 who have not had prior treatment for advanced disease.
