New program aims to ease tough End-of-Life talks for cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a program called ROCKS that helps people with advanced cancer and their family caregivers have important conversations about future medical care. The goal is to see if the program helps them complete advance directives, feel more resilient, and cope better with anxiety and depression. About 152 patient-caregiver pairs will take part, using an online tool to build communication skills.
