NCT ID NCT05090943
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This registry will enroll 450 adults with tic disorders to study how tic severity relates to quality of life, and whether this relationship differs between men and women. Participants will complete questionnaires about tics, mood, and daily functioning. The goal is to better understand the real-world impact of tic disorders in adults.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this registry could reveal important differences in how tic disorders impact men and women, guiding more personalized care.
What could go wrong
This is an observational registry, not a treatment trial. It will not test any new therapy, and results may not lead to immediate changes in care.
