First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at 807 adults with adrenal tumors found by chance during scans for other reasons. Researchers compared the standard approach of repeated CT scans with a single urine test to see which was more cost-effective for detecting cancer. The goal was to find a simpler, cheaper way to manage these tumors without missing dangerous cases.
