Brain scans and phone surveys probe what stops teen Self-Harm
NCT ID NCT06720753
Summary
This study aims to understand how two specific therapy skills help teens with a history of self-harm and suicide attempts. Researchers will teach 200 teens and a parent two different coping skills and track how often the teens use them in daily life using phone surveys. They will also measure brain activity, heart rate, and family interactions to see what helps teens learn and keep using the skills to control harmful urges.
