New approach aims to help kids with ADHD manage weight through parent coaching

NCT ID NCT05165511

Summary

This study aimed to test a new parent training program designed to help children who have both ADHD and weight concerns. The program taught parents strategies to improve their child's planning and self-control skills while promoting healthy habits. Researchers wanted to see if this combined approach was practical and acceptable to families before testing it more broadly. The study was withdrawn before any families enrolled.
