Summary
This study looked at whether adding an extra nerve block in the armpit to the standard shoulder block can better control pain after shoulder replacement surgery. 12 adults having shoulder replacement were enrolled. The goal was to see if the extra block reduces time in recovery, the need for opioid painkillers, and pain scores.
