New study aims to ease pressure and pain during cesarean delivery

Summary

This study tests whether adding dexmedetomidine or clonidine to standard spinal anesthesia can reduce uncomfortable pulling, tugging, or pressure during cesarean delivery. About 150 pregnant women having a C-section will take part. The goal is to improve comfort during surgery and reduce pain afterward.
