New app aims to boost addiction recovery by teaching brain science

Summary

This study tests a mobile app that teaches people with substance use disorders how addiction affects the brain. The goal is to see if this knowledge helps them stay in treatment and improve their recovery. Forty adults currently on medication for opioid or stimulant use will try the app and give feedback.
