New study aims to keep liver transplant patients sober

Summary
This study tests whether adding addiction monitoring after a liver transplant can reduce the rate of alcohol relapse. About 720 adults who received a liver transplant due to alcohol-related liver disease will be followed for two years. The goal is to see if this extra support helps them stay alcohol-free longer.
