Summary
This study tested whether a team-based care model (Collaborative Care) can effectively treat both opioid use disorder and mental health conditions like depression or anxiety in primary care clinics. 254 adults with opioid use disorder and a mental health condition took part. The goal was to see if adding opioid treatment to mental health care improves outcomes compared to mental health care alone.
