Brain zap boost? adderall tested to supercharge depression treatment
NCT ID NCT04509102
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a low dose of Adderall XR makes brain stimulation therapy work better for people with depression that hasn't improved with standard medications. It will involve 30 adults who will be randomly assigned to take either Adderall or a placebo pill for a few weeks while receiving the brain stimulation treatments. The goal is to see if the combination leads to a greater reduction in depression symptoms compared to brain stimulation alone.
