Smart radiation tech aims to zap cervical cancer with fewer side effects
NCT ID NCT06562166
Summary
This study is testing a more precise type of radiation therapy for cervical cancer. It compares a new 'online adaptive' method, which adjusts treatment in real-time, against standard radiation to see if it causes fewer side effects and better controls the tumor. The trial will involve 124 women with specific stages of cervical cancer who are receiving radiation and chemotherapy.
