Sharper radiation aims to zap prostate cancer, spare healthy tissue

NCT ID NCT07219303

Summary

This study is testing a more precise type of radiation therapy for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to see if adjusting the radiation dose in real-time based on daily scans can better target the tumor while reducing damage to nearby organs like the bladder and rectum. Researchers will track side effects and cancer control over five years to see if this approach is safe and effective.
