NCT ID NCT03403465

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study explores whether doing a PET scan during radiation therapy can help doctors adjust the treatment plan to improve outcomes for people with cervical, vulvar, esophageal, or anal cancer. About 90 adults will receive standard radiation plus an extra PET scan partway through. The goal is to see if this scan can predict how well the cancer is responding and allow for personalized adjustments to reduce side effects and improve control of the disease.
