This study adapted a program called BECOME to help people with dementia or mild cognitive impairment and their caregivers manage chronic diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as mental health issues like depression and anxiety. The program was adjusted with input from experts, patients, and caregivers to make it easier to use for those with memory or thinking problems. A small pilot test with 12 participants checked if the adapted program was acceptable and practical. The goal is to improve quality of life and reduce caregiver stress.
