First seen Jul 01, 2026 · Last updated Jul 02, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study adapts an existing advocacy program, called ASSIST, for Latinx families of autistic youth aged 12 and older. The program teaches parents how to advocate for adult disability services, aiming to improve access to care. Researchers will test the adapted program with 48 Spanish-speaking Latinx families in Illinois to see if it is feasible and effective.
