Heart stent patients face blood thinner dilemma: how long is safe?
NCT ID NCT04708587
Summary
This study aims to find the safest duration for patients with advanced kidney disease to take two blood-thinning medications after receiving a heart stent. Researchers will compare different treatment lengths to see which one best prevents heart attacks and strokes while causing the fewest serious bleeding events. The goal is to provide clearer guidance for managing this high-risk group.
