First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a non-invasive, acupuncture-like electrical treatment (ALTENS) can reduce dry mouth in people who had radiation for head and neck cancer. About 75 adults who completed radiation at least 3 months ago and still have dry mouth will receive weekly sessions for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in dry mouth symptoms and check for side effects.
