Summary
This small pilot study explored whether acupuncture could help reduce bothersome hot flashes and night sweats in men with prostate cancer who are on hormone therapy. It involved 12 patients and aimed to see if the treatment was acceptable and effective at easing these specific symptoms. The study measured changes in how much the symptoms interfered with daily life and whether sleep quality improved.
