Needles vs. pain: can ancient practice ease cancer Survivors' suffering?

NCT ID NCT02754752

Summary

This study is testing whether a form of acupuncture using mild electrical pulses can help reduce long-term pain in women who have been treated for early-stage breast cancer. It involves 111 participants who are randomly assigned to receive either real electroacupuncture, a fake version, or no acupuncture at all. The main goal is to see if the real treatment leads to better pain relief and improved quality of life compared to the other groups.
