Veterans test ancient Finger-Pressure technique to fight back pain without drugs

NCT ID NCT05423145

Summary

This study is testing whether a self-administered acupressure program can help veterans manage chronic low back pain. About 300 veterans will learn the technique and half will use a tablet app to guide daily sessions for 6 weeks, while the other half waits. Researchers will measure changes in pain, fatigue, sleep, and daily function to see if this drug-free approach provides lasting relief.
