Ancient touch eases modern medical anxiety?
NCT ID NCT06622850
Summary
This study tested whether applying acupressure (a type of massage on specific points) could help patients feel less pain and anxiety during a urodynamics test, which checks how the bladder works. 68 adult patients were randomly assigned to receive either acupressure or standard care before their procedure. Researchers then measured their pain, anxiety, and vital signs to see if the acupressure made a difference.
