Summary
This study tested whether applying light electrical stimulation to a specific point on the wrist during surgery could help prevent nausea and vomiting afterward in women having breast cancer surgery. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either the wrist stimulation plus standard anti-nausea drugs or just the standard drugs alone. The goal was to see if the added stimulation made a difference in controlling these common post-surgery symptoms.
