Fingertip pressure tested to ease cancer Survivors' exhaustion

NCT ID NCT03763838

Summary

This study tested whether acupressure, a technique using finger pressure on specific body points, could help reduce severe fatigue in women who have completed treatment for ovarian cancer. It involved 171 survivors who reported significant fatigue. Researchers measured changes in fatigue levels, sleep quality, and overall well-being over 24 weeks to see if this non-drug approach provided relief.
