Can Finger-Pressure therapy soothe diabetic nerve pain and fear of falling?
NCT ID NCT07392619
Summary
This study aims to see if acupressure, a type of finger-pressure therapy, can help older adults with painful diabetic nerve damage. Researchers will compare a group receiving real acupressure to a group receiving a placebo treatment to measure effects on pain, balance confidence, fear of falling, and overall quality of life. The goal is to find a non-drug method to manage these difficult symptoms.
