Nurses try ancient touch technique to calm cancer Patients' chemo fears
NCT ID NCT06322615
Summary
This Mayo Clinic study tested whether a simple, drug-free technique called acupressure could help reduce anxiety in people receiving chemotherapy for cancer. Thirty adult patients who reported anxiety during their chemo treatments received short acupressure sessions from a nurse. The main goal was to see if this approach was practical and acceptable to patients, and to check if it made them feel less anxious right after the session.
