Summary
This study looked at whether a non-invasive electrical stimulation at acupoints can improve sleep after general anesthesia in 104 elderly patients having abdominal surgery. The treatment was applied before and after surgery, and sleep was measured during the first night and 24 hours after surgery. The goal was to see if this technique could help reduce sleep problems and support recovery.
