Summary

This study is testing whether a home-based walking program can help people living with HIV who drink alcohol reduce their drinking and become more physically active. 222 participants were randomly assigned to either receive coaching sessions to add walking to their routine or just use a Fitbit tracker. The goal is to see if being more active helps manage drinking habits and improves overall health over 6 months.
