Mindfulness-Based therapy trial aims to ease the burden of debilitating migraines

NCT ID NCT06795867

Summary

This study is testing whether a type of behavioral therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help reduce the life disruption caused by chronic migraine. Researchers will compare adding 8 virtual ACT classes to standard headache treatment against standard treatment alone in 40 adults. The main goal is to see if ACT helps people function better in daily life, not just reduce headache frequency.
